The Schizotypal Abmivalence Scale (SAS)is associated with Schizophrenia-spectrum pathology. The SAS is considered a good measure of schizotypy in young adults. The SAS is a 19 item revision of the Intense Ambivalence Scale (IAS). The IAS was originally created to indentify ambivalence as a specific characteristic of Schizotypy and Schizophrenia. High scores on the SAS are associated with Schizotypal, Schizoid, and paranoid symptoms, along with poor overall functioning.
