Natural Environment Training(NET)

NET is teaching format which is often utilized in Behavioral intervention programs such as ABA. This method is designed to maximize generalization of skills learned in therapy to the child's normal interactions. In contrast to DTT, NET is loosely structured and learning opportunities are initiated by the child.

More specific approaches to NET include incidental teaching, milieu teaching, and pivotal response training.1
